For this video project I decided to film a sport that I love, Baseball. I thought this was a good topic because not only does it personally interest me, but I go to all of the Rollins Baseball games, so it wasn't difficult for me to get a lot of footage. For this project I wanted to portray the sport's intensity and competitiveness of every game. The sport of baseball began around the 1800s and is one of America's first sports. I not only enjoy watching the sport, but read about the history of the sport often. Baseball, just like any sport, is extremely competitive. I wanted to portray how even though this is such a competitive game, and during the game your opponents are your enemies, but at the end of the game...win or lose, it's over and it is just a game. It is important to remember that no matter how big of a sports fan you are. Trust me, I am preaching to the chior here, but I know I shouldn't let the outcome of a game change my mood. The Rollins Baseball team were extremely good sports after this lose on Senior Night. Captian Chris Corbett made sure he huddled both teams up for a prayer afterwards and then to shake each and every team members hand from the opposing team. Although it was a tough loss, and his last home game as a Tar, he handled it like a captain.

This article asks 5 artists on how they think digital art can make the world better. They talk about how the internet isn't safe or sustainable, but "it's the ultimate way to get free." One artist asks, "How are our desires, fantasies, and feelings transformed and controlled through the digital device? What are all those screens telling us or hiding from us?" If I were to answer that question I would say, during this day of technology and digital media everything in our lives is affected. There is no way to get away from the digital age, we just have to embrace it which is exactly what I think digital artists are doing. They are embracing this digital time and taking advantage of it, using their creativity to express themselves through digital art.

Here is a Logo that I created for my high school swim and dive team. Although I am not extremely experienced in Photoshop or other editing programs, I was able to make a decent logo using techniques I already knew. By using images I found and ideas from things I had seen in the past, I created a logo that was our own and it was amazing to see people wearing my artwork around on their clothing.
